India vs West Indies(INDvWI): The 3rd ODI match of West Indies tour of India will be played between these two teams IND vs WI, the match will start at 01:30 PM IST on 11 February 2022 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- India has a stronger batting lineup for the ODI format even though it is not as strong as it used to be
- West Indies has struggled to build innings in the ODI’s and that is unlikely to change in the third ODI
- The conditions are very well suited to India and they are quite difficult to beat at home
SA vs IND Analysis:
India has won the ODI series against the West Indies and now holds a 2-0 lead over them. The third match may be academic from a result point of view, however, there is still a lot at stake. India has shown that it is looking to experiment and try to change its style of playing to adapt to the new requirements. West Indian players have the lure of the IPL Auction ahead of them and this is as good a time to make an impact.
From a betting point of view, we think there are some excellent opportunities to make full use of. Let us have a look at some of them in more detail.

Venue: Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Live Streaming: Disney+ Hotstar
TV: Star Sports Network
Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions in Ahmedabad are expected to remain excellent for cricket. There is no rain predicted at the moment. The pitch for the second ODI was much faster and had a lot more bounce than the first one. What we saw in the second ODI was similar to what we saw against England here last season as well.
Another similar surface with a lot of bounce and pace in it seems to be in store for the third ODI as well. That should mean a lot of runs if the batsmen can get in but the fast-bowlers always have a chance as well.
Team Preview:
India (IND):
India has shown the willingness to experiment in the series so far and we think we are going to see some new faces in the lineup once more. Kuldeep Yadav is one of the players that could come into the playing eleven, maybe in place of Yuzvendra Chahal or Washington Sundar.
India wants to improve its wicket-taking ability in the middle-overs and having someone like Kuldeep Yadav in the team is a big positive.
We could also see Rishab Pant move back down the middle-order since he did not look convincing at all in the opening position. Of course, to judge him after just one inning is harsh. Suryakumar Yadav seems to have cemented his place in the middle and Lokesh Rahul also seems to have been given a clear role at number four.
We like the form that Rohit Sharma has shown and would bet on him to get some runs. Virat Kohli continues to disappoint and at this point, we think it is safer to just not bet on him at all. You could look at the Over/Under markets of both Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav to put some money on.
We also think the Indian batting lineup has not flexed its muscles up until now but it is only a matter of time. The Total Runs India betting market might be a good option (after seeing the toss) or the Total Fours/ Total Sixes by India.
We are bullish on a lot of runs being scored, so we are going to bet on the ‘Over’ at all available opportunities.
India’s bowling was brilliant in the previous match. Prasiddh Krishna got a lot of bounce from the surface and made a big impact. A bowler like him could be quite useful in Australia where the next T20 World Cup is going to be played.
Mohammad Siraj and the spinners have also done quite well in the opportunities that they have got. Shardul Thakur does not seem like a good enough bowler to us at the moment but he does offer some more batting down the order.
Likely XI: Rohit Sharma (c), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Prasidh Krishna.

West Indies (WI):
The West Indians would be disappointed at being 2-0 down in the series. They were completely outplayed in the first match but had their chances in the second. The target in front of them was not very big but none of the batsmen could get a start. Even the famed West Indian batting depth could not bail them out in this match.
Is there a reason to believe that the West Indian batting will change in the third ODI? We are not too sure. They seem to struggle with the tempo of batting in the ODI’s as pinching singles and building an innings does not seem to be in their plans at all. It is dot balls or big hits.
The betting approach to the West Indies should be to bet against their batsmen on most occasions. That means individual total scores Over/Under betting markets as well as the Total Runs scored. However, we almost never bet against the West Indies to hit more sixes than the opposition.
At least one of the players seems to get in and then smash four or five sixes in s short amount of time. You can choose to bet on them.
As far as the bowling goes, their spinners have been quite impressive but the fast-bowlers not as much. Jason Holder has got swing with the new ball and also has the height to get bounce from the surface. A punt on him to be the Top-Bowler in this match would not be a bad idea.
Likely XI: Brandon King, Shai Hope (wk), Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks, Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard (c), Jason Holder, Fabien Allen, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach
