India has decided to temporarily move its embassy in Ukraine to Poland for security reasons as Russia intensifies attacks on Ukrainian capital Kyiv and other major cities.
In view of the rapidly deteriorating situation in Ukraine, which is facing Russian attack, it has been decided to temporarily shift its embassy in Ukraine to Poland. The decision comes amid an escalation in Russia’s attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv and some other major cities.
“In view of the rapidly deteriorating security situation in Ukraine, including attacks in the western parts of Ukraine, it has been decided to temporarily relocate the Indian Embassy here to Poland,” the Ministry of External Affairs said. Looking at the situation ahead, a decision on this will be taken again.
