Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The weather is expected to be a bit cloudy but rain is not currently forecast on match day. The pitch is going to be tired and conducive to the spinners. That has been the case for most of the season so far but especially now that there are three matches being played in a day! The spinners will hold the key and we could have a low-scoring match.
Probably XI:
Trinbago Knight Riders:
Trinbago Knight Riders had a topsy-turvy run in the competition, but with some scintillating performances in their last few matches, they seem to be peaking just at the right moment. With six wins in ten matches, they finished with 12 points to their name – just like two other teams. However, their terrific net run-rate of 0.700 ensured that they stayed above them on the points table.
The Knight Riders are coming off a fantastic win over St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in their recently concluded match. Chasing a total of 148, they looked in control throughout the innings as they won the match by four wickets and six balls to spare. The fact that the Knight Riders have registered four matches out of their last five speaks volumes about how well they have done in recent times.
On paper, the Knight Riders have a side that can beat even the best when they click. However, in the tournament thus far, they have relied heavily on Kieron Pollard and he, in-return, hasn’t disappointed. This over-reliance may very well backfire if things do not turn out to be as expected in the knockouts. Having said that, they have a number of experienced players available, who are all well-equipped to handle the pressure of a knockout. If they are able to come good, beating Knight Riders is going to be incredibly difficult.
Likely XI: Tim Seifert, Denesh Ramdin, Colin Munro, LMP Simmons, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Isuru Udana, Ravi Rampaul, Akeal Hosein, Jayden Seales, Ali Khan

St Lucia Kings:
St Lucia Kings survived a narrow scare as they just managed to qualify for the playoffs. Had Jamaica Tallawahs not lost their last league game, the Kings would have been eliminated from the competition. Now that they have qualified, they have a bigger task at their hands to not only bounce back to winning ways but also defeat a side that is looking to be in terrific touch at the moment.
St Lucia Kings finished with ten points at the end of the league stage and had a pretty poor net run-rate of -0.159 and that speaks volumes about how lucky they were to qualify despite losing their last league match. However, in their league-stage campaign, St Lucia Kings showed that they have a capable unit that can triumph on any given side on their day.
In the upcoming match, however, they will be missing their star performer of the league stage – Faf du Plessis and that can prove to be a differentiating factor. We saw their other batsmen score plenty of runs in their last league games, but the experience of du Plessis would certainly have come in handy. Apart from him, the Kings do have some match-winners available, but they will need to come good for Kings to register a win here and qualify for the grand finale. If that happens, the Knight Riders will have their work cut out.
Likely XI: ADS Fletcher, Tim David, Mark Deyal, Roston Chase, D Wiese, SR Patel, Keemo Paul, Rahkeem Cornwall, Wahab Riaz, Alzarri Joseph, Jeavor Royal.
