Guyana Amazon Warriors vs St kitts & Navis Patriots (GAWvBR): The 16th Match of CPL 2021 will be played between these two teams GAW vs BR , The match will begin on 05 September 2021 at 12:00 AM IST.
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- No team has lost more matches than the Barbados Royals at this stage of the CPL
- Guyana Amazon Warriors have more power in the batting lineup
- Imran Tahir is a serious threat and we think he could make a big impact for the Warriors in this match
GAW vs BR Analysis:
The Guyana Amazon Warriors went from winning a brilliant Super Over contest against the Trinbago Knight riders to being decimated by the Saint Lucia Kings in the next match. With just two wins from five matches, the Warriors need to get their act together and win some matches quickly.
They are going to be taking on the Barbados Royals in this next match. The Royals are in the last place with one win from five matches and have looked a step behind the other teams in CPL 2021. They had their previous match against the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the bag but somehow managed to lose.
Two inconsistent teams playing each other usually means a lot of betting opportunities to enjoy!

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions in St. Kitts are expected to remain excellent for cricket. There is no threat of rain and the pitch should be pretty similar to what we have seen so far. There is not going to be too much pace or bounce in it but the batsmen can score quickly after they get used to the pace.
A score of around 150 has been par in CPL 2021.
Probably XI:
Guyana Amazon Warriors:
The Guyana Amazon Warriors have been very haywire in CPL 2021. They have a lot of options in their lineup but they seem to be confused as to the best way of using them. This has led to a lot of players batting out of position and frequent changes in the batting order.
Nicholas Poorn and Shimron Hetmyer have been in pretty decent form but they almost always come in too late and by that time the team is already struggling.
Mohammad Hafeez played an excellent knock against TKR but he needs to be more consistent while Shoaib Malik is having one of his worst CPL tournaments ever.
Imran Tahir and Romario Shepherd lead the bowling attack that has a lot of options. Pooran ended up using 8 bowlers in the previous match! Odeon Smith, Mohammad Hafeez, and Naveen ul Haq are all pretty decent bowlers as well.
The Warriors have the players in their lineup but their strategy and execution are pretty ordinary.
Likely XI: Chandrapaul Hemraj, Mohammad Hafeez, Odean Smith, Shimron Hetmyer, Shoaib Malik, Nicholas Pooran, Brandon King, Romario Shepherd, Gudakesh Motie, Naveen-ul-Haq, Imran Tahir.

Barbados Royals:
Smit Patel held the inning together for the Barbados Royals in the previous match but his strike rate of 112.50 would have been a bit disappointing. Still, some cameos from Azam Khan, Jason Holder, and Johnson Charles allowed the Barbados Royals to get to 160.
We have seen 160 be just a little above par in CPL 2021 so far.
Jake Lintott, Raymon Reifer, and Naeem Young seemed to have done enough to get their team into a winning position but the royals lost the plot in the final few overs.
There is no doubt that the Barbados Royals have a lot of work to do to be able to compete regularly with the other CPL teams. Their batting does not have the power or quality that most other lineups do.
Similarly, the bowling is average at best and can be quite expensive on bad days. The Barbados Royals do not have dedicated death bowlers and that cost them quite heavily in the previous match.
We think they are going to struggle in most matches that they play in CPL 2021.
Likely XI: Johnson Charles, Shai Hope, GD Phillips, Jason Holder, Azam Khan, Smit Patel, Ashley Nurse, Raymon Reifer, Jake Lintott, Nyeem Young, Oshane Thomas.
