Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- Both teams have been in poor recent form
- Barbados Royals are the weakest batting team in CPL 2021
- Saint Lucia Kings has more depth in its batting and its bowling is also quite impressive when the right selections are made
SLK vs BR Analysis:
The Saint Lucia Kings are going to be playing against the Barbados Royals as the CPL 2021 group stages come towards their final few games. It looks like there are going to be three teams fighting for the final two spots and the Saint Lucia Kings are one of those three teams.
The Barbados Royals are not going to be part of the CPL 2021 Playoffs this season but they will still want to go out with a couple of wins to their names.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
After brilliant weather all throughout the CPL, the weather seems to be turning just a bit. We still expect a full match but the chances of some rain falling are more than in previous weeks. The pitch is slow, low, and difficult to score on.
Teams have found it tough to attack the spinners and that will not change. The small boundaries do keep the big-hitters interested but overall, this edition of the CPL has been lower scoring than others.
A score of around 150 should be seen as par.
Probably XI:
St Lucia Kings:
The Saint Lucia Kings have lost their previous two matches and are losing form at just the wrong time in CPL 2021. They need to get back to winning ways and make the most of these remaining two matches against the Barbados Royals.
The Kings struggled with their bowling in the previous match and may want to go back to some tried and trusted members. Not playing Obed McCoy and Wahab Riaz in the previous match made no sense to us at all and it ended up causing a lot of problems for the Kings.
We think those two are going to be back to boost the bowling attack.
The Kings have batted quite brilliantly on occasions and quite terribly on others. While Andre Fletcher, Tim David, and Roston Chase are in good form, Faf du Plessis has just one brilliant century amidst a string of low scores.
We do think the basic structure of the Saint Lucia Kings is quite good and that it should be able to finish with some strong performances.
Likely XI: ADS Fletcher, Faf du Plessis, Tim David, Keron Cottoy, Roston Chase, SR Patel, Keemo Paul, Wahab Riaz, KOK Williams, Obed McCoy, Jeavor Royal.

Barbados Royals :
The Barbados Royals were just decimated by the Trinbago Knight Riders in the previous match and will want to move on from that result very quickly. Poor planning, poor use of resources, and some extremely inconsistent performances have been the hallmarks of the Barbados Royals in CPL 2021.
They were given a very tough trial by spin in the previous match and that is unlikely to happen against the Saint Lucia Kings. The three best batsmen for the Royals this season have been Azam Khan, Johnson Charles, and Glenn Phillips. All three of them have scored 170 plus runs with some decent hits over the boundary but the big scores have been missing.
A total of just three individual fifties have been recorded by the Barbados Royals batsmen in CPL 2021.
This weakness in the batting is not going to disappear overnight.
The bowling is also not where the Royals would like it to be. Whether they play Mohammad Amir or not in this match remains to be seen but Raymon Reifer is the current leader of the bowling attack. A number of similar medium-paced bowlers and not enough quality spinners in the squad are holding the Barbados Royals back.
Likely XI: Azam Khan, GD Phillips, Johnson Charles, Kyle Mayers, Smit Patel, Jason Holder, Raymon Reifer, Nyeem Young, Mohammad Amir, Jake Lintott, Joshua Bishop.
