St Lucia Kings vs Trinbago Knight Riders (SLKvTKR): The 7th Match of CPL 2021 will be played between these two teams SLKvTKR , The match will begin on 29 August 2021 at 07:30 PM IST.
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- Both teams have been inconsistent so far and so the match may be quite close
- St. Lucia Kings have a weaker spin-bowling attack and its batting also lacks the power that TKR has
- We are backing TKR’s batting to come good in this match and help it win
SLK vs TKR Analysis:
St. Lucia Kings were at the end of a brutal Jamaica Tallawahs assault in its opening match. That resulted in a 120 runs defeat that would have dented its confidence and the net run rate massively. Now, it takes on the Trinbago Knight Riders who managed to get their first win of CPL 2021 in the previous match. The matches come thick and fast in this edition of the CPL and we have double headers every single day.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The weather in St. Kitts has been brilliant so far and the forecast is for more of the same. The pitch seems to have settled quite nicely and is allowing the batsmen to score a lot of runs. The spinners are still the most difficult to score off but the straight boundaries are short and give the big-hitters a real chance to do some damage.
A score of around 150-160 should be seen as par.
Probably XI:
St Lucia Kings:
St. Lucia Kings will have to reassess their bowling plans after what they went through in the first match. Wahab Riaz had one of the most expensive three-over spells in the history of T20 cricket as he gave away 61 runs without picking up a wicket. He can be brilliant on his day and so St. Lucia Kings will want to persist with him but his confidence is going to be dented.
Usman Qadir, Kesrick Williams, and almost all the other bowlers went for a lot of runs in that match. Obed McCoy was the only one that managed to make some sort of impact and is our bowler to watch out for in this match once more.
The batsmen never had a chance to get themselves in. We saw Rakheem Cornwall start with 14 runs off the first three balls he faced and then got out. He can be quite dangerous but is not very dependable. Andre Fletcher, Tim David, and Faf du Plessis give the team a lot of scoring options but we think there are going to be some collapses down the road.
Likely XI: Rahkeem Cornwall, ADS Fletcher, Faf du Plessis, Roston Chase, Mark Deyal, Tim David, Keemo Paul, Wahab Riaz, Usman Qadir, Obed McCoy, KOK Williams.

Trinbago Knight Riders:
The Trinbago Knight Riders got their first win of the season but it was not a performance that would make them happy. The top-order once again failed and it was left to Pollard to rescue the chase. The lack of runs from the top order in two consecutive matches is a big concern. We have been bullish on Lendl Simmons so far but he has not delivered. Maybe this is the match where he returns to the kind of form he showed in the international matches not too long back.
The bowling effort by TKR was brilliant. Isuru Udana picked up five wickets, Sunil Narine was tough to score off, and Akeal Hossain had a good match as well. hayden Seales was the only bowler who went for runs.
Likely XI: Tim Seifert, Denesh Ramdin, Colin Munro, LMP Simmons, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, SP Narine, Isuru Udana, Ravi Rampaul, Jayden Seales, Akeal Hosein.
