In the first innings of the Kanpur Test match, Team India’s spin all-rounder Axar Patel bowled deadly against the visiting team New Zealand. The Kiwi batsmen looked breathless in front of the deadly bowling of Axar Patel. He took 5 for 62 in 34 overs in the first innings and also bowled 6 overs maidens. Axar Patel is playing his first Test match against New Zealand and in the first innings of the match against this team, he did an amazing job of taking Phifer in the very first innings. Apart from this, on the strength of his deadly bowling, he also made many records in his name.

Axar Patel equals Hasan Ali-

In the year 2021, Axar Patel equaled Hasan Ali in terms of taking the most wickets in Test cricket and came jointly with him at number one. This was Akshar Patel’s fifth fifer in the year 2021, while Hasan Ali has already done so. At the same time, after this in Tests this year, R Ashwin and Kyle Jamieson have done wonders of taking Phifer three times each.

Axar Patel equals Kyle Jamieson-

In the World Test Championship, Axar Patel did wonders to take Phifer for the fifth time and equalized Kyle Jamieson. Now Axar Patel and Jamieson are jointly at number one in the World Test Championship with five times each. Axar Patel took 30 wickets in his fourth test match and came second in terms of taking 30 Test wickets for India’s fastest. The fastest bowler to take 30 wickets in Test cricket from India was Narendra Hirwani, who did this feat in his third Test itself, while Ravindra Jadeja is at number three with 30 wickets in 6 Test matches.
