Team India has to play the second test match against Sri Lanka in Bangalore. Ahead of this Day-Night Test match, Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav has been dropped from the Indian Test team. Axar Patel has been included in the Test team in place of Kuldeep Yadav who is now fully fit.
The Indian team management decided to drop Kuldeep Yadav because Axar Patel has become fit. Akshar Patel was associated with Team India in Mohali itself. India defeated Sri Lanka by an innings and 222 runs in the Mohali Test match.
Talking about Axar Patel, he was running out of the team for a long time due to injury and he could not go with Team India on the South Africa tour. After that he could not play against West Indies as well as he could not take part in T20 series against Sri Lanka. Axar Patel, now fully fit, could not even play in the first test match against Sri Lanka.
