Before the third T20 match against Sri Lanka, a bad news came to the fore. Ishan Kishan suffered a head injury during the second match. Actually, a bouncer was hit in his head and then he was admitted to the hospital last night. Now according to the BCCI, he has been discharged from the hospital and he is out of the third T20 match. Ishan Kishan was hit by a bouncer from Lahiru Kumara on his helmet during the third over of the second innings of the second match. He played an innings of 16 runs in this match.
Now if Ishan Kishan does not play in the third match, then Mayank Agarwal can be given a chance in his place. That is, in the third match, Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal can start the innings. Mayank Agarwal was included in the Indian team as a cover for Rituraj Gaikwad. India have won the first two matches against Sri Lanka, so it may be possible for captain Rohit Sharma to try some other players in this match.
Talking about batting, Mayank and Rohit can open the innings, while Shreyas Iyer will be seen at number three. In fourth place will be Sanju Samson who can also play the role of wicketkeeper in this match. At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja and Venkatesh Iyer can come to bat at number five and six. Deepak Hooda may probably get a chance in this match and he can bat at number seven.
In the bowling department, Ravi Bishnoi can be tried in place of Yuzvendra Chahal, while Avesh Khan can get a chance in place of Bhuvneshwar Kumar in this match. Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel are in the team as fast bowlers. Apart from this, Jadeja, Venkatesh Iyer and Deepak Hooda can also be seen bowling.
Team India’s probable playing XI for the third T20 match-
Rohit Sharma (captain), Mayank Agarwal, Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson (wk), Ravindra Jadeja, Venkatesh Iyer, Deepak Hooda, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravi Bishnoi.
