Rohit said that we were worried about the middle overs but our middle order batsmen did well in this series. We batted according to the conditions. The middle order doesn’t get much opportunities because of the good performances of the top three batsmen.
Indian team captain Rohit Sharma has said that the team management is not worried about Virat Kohli’s form as the former captain has scored runs in the recent series.
Kohli last scored a century in a Day-Night Test against Bangladesh in 2019 and after that he has failed to score a century in any format. Kohli also scored 26 runs in the ODI series against West Indies and he was dismissed for zero in the third match. But when the captain was asked about Kohli’s form, he said that he is not worried about it. He said that Virat Kohli needs confidence? What are you talking about. Not scoring a century is a different matter but he scored two half-centuries in three matches against South Africa. I don’t think there is anything to worry about.

In this series, the middle order batted well according to the situation. We had lost three wickets for 40 runs at one point in the last two matches but then the batsmen put up a partnership. We were able to do that in both the matches and it is a good sign to move forward. The pitch was challenging which helped the bowlers a lot. It was a different challenge in all three matches.
