Indian cricketer Rahul Chahar has tied the knot with his fiancee Ishani Johar. The leg-spinner has started a new innings with Destination Wedding in Goa today i.e. Wednesday. His wife Ishani is a fashion designer by profession.
Rahul Chahar, a resident of Agra, got engaged to Ishani Johar of Bengaluru in Jaipur in December 2019. Both were dating each other for a long time.
On the occasion of Rahul’s marriage, his family also stayed with him. His brother and Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar was present with his fiancee and sister Malti Chahar. The wedding rituals of Rahul-Ishani took place at Hotel W in Goa.
After the Mehndi ceremony on Tuesday, Rahul Chahar shared his pictures with Ishani on Facebook. The first day was filled with colors of Mehndi. The wedding reception will be held on March 12 in Tajnagri Agra.
Big money received in IPL-
Rahul has played ODI and T20 matches for India. He used to play for Mumbai Indians till now, but this time Punjab Kings has included him in their team. In IPL Mega Auction 2022, Rahul has got a hefty price of 5.25 crores. For the first time in the IPL, he will play for a team other than Mumbai. From 2018 to 2021, Rahul has been a part of the Mumbai team.
Has made debut for India-
Rahul has played one ODI and five T20 matches for India. He has three wickets in one ODI match, while he has taken seven wickets in five T20 matches.
Brother Deepak Chahar has also engaged-
Apart from Rahul Chahar, Deepak Chahar is also engaged. He proposed his girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj during the IPL match itself in the stadium. Deepak may also tie the knot soon.
