The schedule of the Indian cricket team’s tour of South Africa has been released. After the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian team will go on this tour at the end of the year. The Indian team will tour South Africa in December-January to play an all-format series. Cricket South Africa (CSA) gave this information. India will play three Tests, as many ODIs and four T20 matches in this tour.
CSA Director Graeme Smith said: “It is wonderful in these challenging times that such high quality cricket will be played at our home. This includes a complete tour of India in all three formats. The three-Test series will be part of the World Test Championship. After the Test series, a series of ODIs and T20 matches will be played.
The Indian team will start the South Africa tour with a Test series. The first match will be played from December 17 to 21. After this, the second match will be played between Boxing Day i.e. 26 to 30 December. The third test match will be played from January 3 to 7. After this, the Indian team will play a three-match ODI series. These matches will be played on 11, 14 and 16 January. The series of four T20 matches will be played from January 19 to 26.
