Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Chennai Super Kings (SRHvCSK): Match no. 44 of VIVO IPL 2021 will be played between these two teams SRH vs CSK, The match will begin on 30 September 2021 at 07:30 PM IST.
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- CSK has won 8 matches out of 10 while SRH has won just two matches in IPL 2021 so far
- SRH may have won its previous match but we still have massive doubts over its batting depth
- CSK has more experience and depth in the squad to be able to adapt to the different conditions
SRH vs CSK Analysis:
Sunrisers Hyderabad pulled off a very impressive victory against the Rajasthan Royals in the previous match and are still in with a mathematical chance of making the playoffs. That chance is so small, though, that the SRH management has decided to cut off a few senior players and give its youngsters a chance to see what they have to work with moving forward.
They are going to be taking on the most impressive team of IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings, in this next match. CSK has all but qualified for the playoffs and will want to ensure a top-2 finish with a win in this match.
A mismatch like this can be tough for bettors looking for value but we are going to look at the different cricket betting sites for the best IPL betting odds and find some worthwhile opportunities for you.
Match Details:
Date: September 30, 2021
Time: 07:30 PM (IST)
Venue: Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah
Live Streaming: Disney+ Hotstar
TV: Star Sports Network.
Pitch and Weather Conditions:
Sharjah in 2021 is very different from Sharjah in 2020. The pitch is slow, spin-friendly, and makes it is very difficult for the batsmen. Scores of around 130 have been tough to chase down and we think 150-160 could be a winning total in this match as well.
The spinners are going to dominate in this match and we are going to bet on this being a low-scoring thriller once more.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
SRH won the previous match after making some drastic changes to its lineup. Jason Roy came in and made an immediate impact, Abhishek Sharma batted well under pressure, and the bowling lineup seemed to be doing its job reliably.
However, we would be very wary of giving that win too much importance. Yes, SRH played well but we have Jason Roy struggle in spin-friendly conditions far too often to believe he has overcome all of those weaknesses. There is a definite lack of depth in the batting and only Jason Holder seems to have the power to clear the boundaries on a regular basis.
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar is a very good bowler but he has not been at his best. He and Sandeep Sharma use the swing that a new ball offers but that has not been the case in the UAE. Rashid Khan is the only genuine match-winner that they have with the ball. He is also someone who does not pick too many wickets as teams look to play him out.
SRH has fundamental issues with its lineup and we don’t think one win is enough to forget all the weaknesses that it has.
Likely XI: Jason Roy, WP Saha, Priyam Garg, KS Williamson, Abhishek Sharma, Jason Holder, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, S Sharma, Siddarth Kaul.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
CSK has been in tremendous form and manages to win even when it is not playing at its best. We thought its win against KKR in the previous match was quite lucky and even Dhoni said the same thing.
There is no doubt about the fact that CSK has a stronger and more powerful batting lineup. Ruturaj Gaikwad has taken his batting to a whole different level and forms a very strong partnership with Faf du Plessis at the top.
With Moeen Ali and Ambati Rayadu in the top-4, CSK has a strong top-order but Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni are well beyond their best. Ravindra Jadeja and one out of Dwayne Bravo or Sam Curran need to be sharp enough to rescue CSK on a regular basis.
CSK’s bowling performance in the previous match was quite poor. Most of all, its spin-bowling options are quite bare with the setup it has been using. We would not be surprised to see Imran Tahir get a game in this match at all.
The depth in the CSK squad is quite simply at a whole different level when compared to SRH. The confidence that comes with a winning season is also something not to be underestimated.
Likely XI: Faf du Plessis, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, SK Raina, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, SN Thakur, Deepak Chahar, JR Hazlewood.
