Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata Knight Riders(CSKvKKR): The Final of VIVO IPL 2021 will be played between these two teams CSK vs KKR, The match will begin on 15 October 2021 at 07:30 PM IST.
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- KKR has the better bowling attack but CSK has a better bowling lineup
- The conditions are expected to be good for batting and the pitch a bit bouncy, both things that will favor KKR
- CSK’s middle-order is a bit shaky and we think KKR can take advantage of that with its superior bowling lineup
CSK vs KKR Analysis:
The IPL 2021 Final is here and we have the Chennai Super Kings fighting against the Kolkata Knight Riders for the title. CSK has been consistent throughout the split season and waltzed into the playoffs. It then managed to overcome a tough challenge from the Delhi Capitals and reached the final. KKR has had a longer and more dramatic route to the final. It was second from the bottom when the second leg f IPL 2021 started but seven wins from nine matches have seen it reach the final as well.
Both these teams are led by experienced captains. We have also seen them stick to some predictable patterns that we can exploit in various betting markets. The conditions in Dubai are going to be dramatically different than in Sharjah and this is why we think you must explore a completely different betting strategy for this match.

Date: October 15, 2021

Venue: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
Live Streaming: Disney+ Hotstar

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions in Dubai are going to be good for batting. The ball will come onto the bat nicely and there will be a good amount of bounce for the bowlers to work with as well. A high-scoring match where both teams should be able to get past 150 is certainly not out of the question.
The pressure of the IPL Final can make some teams play differently but with CSK and KKR, two World Cup winning captains will ensure that there is an air of calmness and predictability about the entire match.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
CSK got home in the match against Delhi Capitals thanks to a vintage finishing performance from MS Dhoni. Ruturaj Gaikwad played very well and was the anchor for the team once more while the emergence of Robin Uthappa was a pleasant surprise for everyone.
However, we do believe that CSK is the less-suited to the conditions in Dubai. All indications are that the match is going to be a high-scoring one and that is where CSK may falter a bit. Sure, it has the depth in the batting needed to win, and its opening combination is in terrific form but the middle-order has not been convincing for quite some time now.
Also, the bowling attack for CSK has struggled in recent matches. It was able to get away with a win against DC because DC just did not have the depth to keep attacking the CSK bowlers in the middle. That is not going to be the case with KKR.
Deepak Chahar’s lack of wickets in the powerplay has to be a big concern and the fact that Dwayne Bravo has been going for runs in his previous couple of matches will not be lost on the team either. CSK has the experience of playing and winning big matches but its team is certainly beatable.
Likely XI: Faf du Plessis, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, Josh Hazlewood.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR):
KKR has scripted what is possibly the most dramatic turnaround in fortunes in IPL history. The team has come back from nowhere and managed to win a place in the final with some brilliant performances. It is interesting to see that most of the players behind this turnaround are young Indian players that don’t carry a huge reputation.
Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Shubman Gill, and Nitish Rana are the batsmen that have been carrying the team even as more experienced players continue to falter. Will KKR make the bold choice of playing Andre Russell in this Final if he is available? We think they will and it will be Shakib that possibly gets left out.
Dubai has offered some help to the pacers and that will make the rile of Lockie Ferguson very important as well. Ferguson is possibly the best fast-bowler of the IPL 2021 season and has made an impact in every game that he has played.
With Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy in great form, KKR’s bowling attack looks quite sorted. Also, there is no way that Morgan is going to let Ruturaj Gaikwad get set and score runs without testing him with the short ball immediately. KKR has a great shot at winning this IPL Final and continuing its legacy of never losing an IPL Final.
Likely XI: Shubman Gill, Venkatesh Iyer, Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, Eoin Morgan, Dinesh Karthik, Shakib Al Hasan/Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Chakravarthy, Shivam Mavi.
