Not only this, the teams of Ahmedabad and Lucknow have been given letters of intent by the organizers of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In a few days, they will hand over the list of their three players to the BCCI. In this way, the team of Lucknow and Ahmedabad will soon release the list of their three players, in which maximum two Indians and maximum one foreign player can be there.
Before going to the mega auction of IPL 2022, all the teams will have at least two players each. However, the old teams also have four players each, including Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Chennai Super Kings, while Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have retained 3 players each. At the same time, Punjab Kings has gone with only two of its old players.
The new teams of IPL have a chance to choose three players each and there is every scope for the team to add two Indian players and one foreign player each. The Lucknow team can go with KL Rahul as the captain, while the Ahmedabad team can go with David Warner as the captain. Jani Bairstow and Yuzvendra Chahal can also be in the Lucknow team.
