Bharat started his career as a bowling coach with the Tamil Nadu home team. After this, he worked as the head bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore. From here he took the responsibility of the head coach of the Under-19 team and under his coaching, India’s team won this title in Australia in 2012. Bharat, who worked with Kolkata Knight Riders, was associated with the Indian team as a bowling coach from 2014 to 2021.
