Lucknow Super Giants vs Chennai Super Kings (LSGvCSK): The 7th match of IPL 2022 will be played between LSG vs CSK, the match will start at 07:30 PM IST on 31 March 2022 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, India
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- Both teams are looking for their first win of IPL 2022
- LSG seems to have a stronger batting lineup with more depth and power in the middle order
- CSK is a dangerous team with Moeen Ali available but we think they are inherently a flawed team this time around
LSG vs CSK Analysis:
It is the battle of the Super Giants vs the Super Kings in IPL 2022 as Lucknow gets ready to battle Chennai. Both of these teams lost their opening match and we now know a bit about their lineups. CSK will be very pleased to have Moeen Ali back in the lineup while LSG should play more or less the same lineup.
Unsurprisingly, all the best IPL betting sites have CSK as the favorite to win this match. With the disappointing start we saw on the opening day, could that be a mistake?

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions at Brabourne are going to be excellent for batting. We saw DC pull off a superb chase against MI in the previous match played here. The ball came on nicely to the bat and batsmen were able to clear the boundaries quite easily as well. The same may be the case in this contest.
A score of around 180-190 is the least that teams batting first should aim for.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG):
LSG had a great start in their previous match against Gujarat Titans but later managed to make a comeback in the game. It lost but KL Rahul didn’t care at all and was quite happy with the performance of his new players.
We are going to assume that LSG are going to play with the same eleven in this match as no major changes have been made to the squad between matches. That is, KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis will be in the top-3 for the team.
This is a very strong top order that will be fun to bat at the Brabourne Stadium. We will help all of them to score runs in their individual over/under betting markets.
Manish Pandey may have failed but he is still a useful player in the middle order and the lower order of Hooda, Pandya and Badoni showed that it can contribute with runs as well. This should give the top order the freedom to play their shots and not worry about the wickets.
We think LSG have a stronger batting lineup than CSK at the moment.
The problem could be with LSG’s bowling. Avesh Khan looked quite pedestrian in the previous match and was also low in speed. He may find it difficult as a leading bowler now that he doesn’t have Rabada + Nortje for company. Mohsin Khan was not very good and spinners have to struggle in Mumbai.
Big boundaries may allow Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Hooda and Kunal Pandya to dominate but their match against Moeen Ali is going to be crucial.
Likely XI: KL Rahul (capt), Quinton de Kock (wk), Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, Mohsin Khan, Ayush Badoni, Dushmantha Chamira, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK):
CSK’s batting was very poor and lacked any modern T20 approach as they scored 131 for 5 against KKR. Moeen Ali’s return to the lineup will mean that Devon Conway will be dropped from the playing XI and Robin Uthappa will move into the opening slot.
There is no doubt that Moeen Ali is the most important player in the team at the moment. He can take off spinners, hit sixes at will, and also provides an important spin-bowling option against left-handed batsmen. Betway offers a ‘To Hit a Six’ betting market where we always keep an eye on Moeen Ali! He’s just as good at crossing the border.
However, don’t discount batting completely, as Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ambati Rayudu and even Ravindra Jadeja are batsmen with excellent IPL records. We feel there is a lack of power in the lower order and teams can pair CSK with spin bowling in the middle (especially if Moeen Ali is not at the crease).
Adam Milne and Tushar Deshpande took the new ball in the last match and may do so once again. It’s not really a bowling pairing that most teams are going to worry about. Milne is very good, no doubt, but he thrives more on death when batsmen are going after him.
Dwayne Bravo took three wickets in the last match, which proved to be a matter of concern for him, but he can also be very expensive.
The individual squads of this team are not very confident and though Dhoni might be able to show his magic to make them perform beyond their abilities, but we cannot bet on him as the favorite in this match.
Likely XI: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Robin Uthappa, Moeen Ali, Ambati Rayudu, Ravindra Jadeja (c), Shivam Dubey, MS Dhoni (wk), Dwayne Bravo, Mitchell Santner, Adam Milne, Tushar Deshpande.
