Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals (LSGvDC): The 15th match of IPL 2022 will be played between LSG vs DC, the match will start at 07:30 PM IST on 07 April 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, India
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- Both teams have lost one of the matches that they have played so far
- LSG seems to have a strong middle-order with a lot of depth and some important players in good form
- DC will welcome back David Warner for this match giving it a much-needed batting boost
LSG vs DC Analysis:
The Lucknow Super Giants will be playing their fourth IPL 2022 match as they take on the Delhi Capitals. With two wins from three matches, LSG has started the season strong and is right in the mix with the top teams right now. DC has won one and lost one out of the two matches it has played so far. It has looked a bit out of sorts so far but the availability of David Warner (and perhaps Nortje) should help change that.
The IPL betting sites have DC as the favorite to win this match and by some margin.

Match 15- LSG vs DC
Date: 07 April, 2022
Time: 07:30 PM (IST)
Venue: DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, India
Live Streaming: Disney+ Hotstar
TV: Star Sports Network
Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions at the DY Patil Stadium have been excellent for batting so far and should remain that way. In fact, there has been some grass on the surface which the new ball bowlers have been able to use first up. The teams may choose to just be a bit cautious first up to avoid losing too many wickets.
There have been four matches played at this venue with the first two being won by the chasing teams and the second two by the teams batting first. There is an anti-dew spray that is being used a bit close to the start of the match and that could hopefully have more of an effect.
We think a score of somewhere around 180 should be seen as par and that the chasing team holds a big advantage.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG):
LSG recovered from a poor start against SRH where it lost early wickets to end up with a good total. This is not the first time that the lower order has come to its aid and is something that bodes well for the team. We think it is quite likely that Quinton de Kock and Evin Lewis are going to be attacked by the off-spin of Lalit Yadav early on to try and take advantage of a good matchup.
LSG will have to play a lot of top-quality spin during this match and that could be a problem for de Kock and Lewis. This is why we suggest either staying away from betting on them or to bet against them.
KL Rahul is an excellent pick for the Top Batsman LSG betting market. He has scored 108 runs so far and is in good form. The odds available for him are a bit short, though.
Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, and Jason Holder give LSG a very deep batting lineup. Holder faced three balls in the previous match and managed to hit a six. He is someone that you can most certainly look for the ‘To Hit A Six’ betting market that bookmakers like Betway offer.
LSG’s bowling is headlined by Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi with support from Jason Holder, Krunal Pandya, and Andrew Tye. Avesh Khan picked up four wickets in the previous match and would hope to make an impact against his former IPL team but the real threat could be Ravi Bishnoi.
He is brilliant against the left-handers and will have three-four such targets while playing against DC. He is our pick for the Top Bowler LSG betting market.
Likely XI: KL Rahul (c), Quinton de Kock (wk), Manish Pandey, Evin Lewis, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Jason Holder, Andrew Tye, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan.

Delhi Capitals (DC):
DC has been struggling with its team balance in the first two matches it played since a number of its first-choice players have been unavailable. Things should become a bit better now as David Warner will be available for selection ahead of this match. In fact, Nortje is also close to being available for selection and Mitchell Marsh should be available from the next match onward.
For this match, we will consider only David Warner since he is sure to play.
DC has been playing with two or three overseas players so far. That means it could slot in David Warner and replace someone like Mandeep Singh in the batting lineup. They could replace Tim Seifert of course but having him in the playing eleven one more time is the way we think DC will go.
Warner and Shaw opening the batting is a formidable pair and they could be followed by Tim Seifert, Rishab Pant, Lalit Yadav, Rovman Powell, and Axar Patel. This is a pretty good top-7 with Shardul Thakur still there at number 8 to contribute as needed.
The batting lineup has underperformed so far with not a single batsman scoring a fifty and the highest individual score coming from the bat of Lalit Yadav. Pant and Seifert have not hit a single six and Powell has hit just one.
DC needs to find some inspiration from somewhere and maybe the addition of Warner will be that boost that they are looking for.
DC’s bowling lineup is in a better state. It has Mustafizur Rahman, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel with Shardul Thakur as the fifth bowler. Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur have not picked up a single wicket in IPL 2022 so far and have been quite expensive as well.
With dew playing a major role at the DY Patil Stadium, Kuldeep Yadav could also struggle if DC has to bowl second. Among this lot, we would certainly go for Khaleel Ahmed or Mustafizur Rahman as our picks for the Top Bowler DC betting market.
Likely XI: Prithvi Shaw, Tim Seifert, Mandeep Singh, Rishabh Pant (c, wk), Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Khaleel Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman
