MI vs DC Analysis:
The Mumbai Indians are dead last in the IPL 2022 standings and have nothing but pride to play for. At best, they may be able to move up one place in the standings but that is not going to mean anything.
They will be playing against a team that has everything to play for. The Delhi Capitals are currently in fourth place and in the qualification zone. To ensure they go through, DC will have to win its match against MI. It may still be able to qualify if it loses but for that it will have to hope for some other results going its way.
DC has been plagued with injuries but it may finally be close to full strength for this match. It is the clear favorite to win this match at all the best IPL betting sites.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The Wankhede Stadium has some of the shortest boundaries out of all the venues being used in IPL 2022. There also seems to be a bit of help for the bowlers with the new ball as the average powerplay score here is just 41.2.
There is always some bounce in the pitch and at this late stage in the tournament, we can expect some turn as well. We think a score of around 170 should be seen as being quite competitive.

Mumbai Indians (MI):
MI lost its previous match to SRH by just three runs but that narrow margin was only made possible by the heroics of Tim David. He smashed 26 runs in the 18th over before getting runout and brought MI to the doorstep of victory.
That they still managed to lose would be of some concern.
MI has struggled with its batting in IPL 2022. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan finally got some runs in the previous match but Kishan is still looking quite scratchy. Tilak Varma and Tim David are the two players that can play a massive role in winning the match and they are someone we would bet on to score runs in this match as well.
MI has been trying out some new players and it played Sanjay Yadav, Ramandeep Singh, Tristan Stubbs, and Mayank Markande in the previous match. Testing out new players is always going to leave the team vulnerable to a loss since the younger players take some time to get used to the IPL level.
Jasprit Bumrah is the standout fast bowler with excellent support from Daniel Sams and Riley Meredith.

Delhi Capitals (DC):
DC comes into this match in the best position to try and push for a playoff place. It has the net run-rate to just concentrate on winning the match. Everything else will take care of itself. A tricky selection issue would confront DC ahead of this match.
Reports suggest that Prithvi Shaw is going to be fit for this match and available for selection. However, Sarfaraz Khan was absolutely brilliant at the top of the order in the previous match. Does DC go back to Shaw or does it stick with Sarafarz? It could also shift Sarfaraz to the middle order and leave Lalit Yadav out.
Either way, though, the batting lineup is looking quite strong. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh are the two players that we would back to get some runs in this match. They certainly have the form as well as the big match temperament on their side.
Rovman Powell has also been a massive weapon at the end of the inning and we all know what Pant is capable of. This batting lineup looks better than MI’s for sure.
The bowling attack for DC should feature Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Shardul Thakur. Once again, this is a strong bowling lineup although it does have a couple of players that can be very expensive on their bad days.
