Sunrisers Hyderabad created a lot of ruckus before the auction. Not only did they let go of their most valuable player in history, David Warner, but they also failed to retain their most valuable bowler in history, Rashid Khan.
Instead, the team relied on Kane Williamson’s leadership as the Kiwi batsman was retained along with young Umran Malik and Abdul Samad.
The mega auction of IPL 2022 was more or less successful for Sunrisers. He was focused on filling the gap in the playing 11 and seems to have done a good job of it.
Some of the star players acquired by SRH include Nicholas Pooran, Rahul Tripathi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Romario Shepherd, Washington Sundar and Aiden Markram.

About Sunrisers Hyderabad:
Sunrisers Hyderabad came into existence in 2012, when Hyderabad-based Deccan Chargers pulled out of the IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad is the nickname of the team because Sun is the owner of the TV network. Sunrisers Hyderabad made their first participation in the competition as an underdog in 2013 and finished fourth.
There aren’t many haters in the squad, and even the locals don’t shout as loudly as they should. As a result, they have walked into (almost) every incident as Dalit. The moment we beat Royal Challengers Bangalore to win our first title in 2016.
This was the Hyderabad team’s second win in the IPL, and both the victories were against Royal Challengers Bangalore. David Warner (an Australian footballer) was the backbone of the team in guiding them to victory.
