Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants (SRHvLSG): The 12th match of IPL 2022 will be played between SRH vs LSG, the match will start at 07:30 PM IST on 04 April 2022 at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai, India
Team winner Prediction:
Key Points:
- SRH’s batting struggled in the previous match but Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran can change things around quite quickly
- LSG’s bowling has been very expensive in the two matches they have played with the exception of Ravi Bishnoi
- SRH is available at better odds which makes the risk of betting on it worth it
SRH vs LSG Analysis:
Sunrisers Hyderabad is going to be playing their next match in IPL 2022 against the Lucknow Super Giants. So far, SRH has played just one match and lost that while LSG has played two matches and has won its most recent one.
Things were looking a bit grim for SRH and they seem to have more than a few holes to fill in their lineup. LSG, on the other hand, seems to have uncovered some very promising young Indian talent that could give it a boost down the line.
SRH is the underdog in this contest according to all the best IPL betting sites, however, most IPL teams are so closely matched that it may not matter.

Pitch and Weather Conditions:
The conditions at the DY Patil Stadium are going to be great for batting. The pitch has a nice amount of pace and the ball comes onto the bat very nicely. There is also a lot of dew making conditions very difficult to bowl in during the second inning. Players refer to it as a ‘swimming pool’ and so chasing is clearly the way to go.
A score of around 180-190 is the least that teams batting first will aim for.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
SRH lost its previous match against RR by 61 runs. To be honest, that margin was only reduced because of a final flourish by Washington Sundar otherwise it could have been closer to 80-90 runs. That is a massive defeat and shows the kind of problems that exist in the batting lineup.
Having Abhishek Sharma open the batting does not seem like the best option but at least Kane Williamson is a reliable player. Even Rahul Tripathi is an excellent IPL player and one bad inning is not enough to give up on him. Then there is Nicholas Pooran. he is someone who has done brilliantly at the international level and seems like the ideal IPL player but his record is just not good enough.
He started with another duck in the previous match and will be a bit under pressure. Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, and Romario Shepherd do provide some serious batting depth on paper. Will this potential translate into performance or will it be another failure to launch?
We also saw SRH struggle a lot with its bowling in the previous match. T Natarajan went for a lot of runs and the fifth bowler’s load shared between Washington Sundar and Abhishek Sharma also went for over 60 runs.
Both Sundar and Natarajan need to get their act together quickly otherwise SRH will find it difficult to keep the runs down.
The team is better than it has performed so far and you should not just write it off.
Likely XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler, Devdutt Padikkal, Sanju Samson (Captain, Wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Riyan Parag, Ravichandran Ashwin, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Yuzvendra Chahal, Trent Boult, Prasidh Krishna

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG):
LSG hit its stride in the previous match it played against CSK. KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock got off to a brilliant start after which Evin Lewis, Deepak Hooda, and Ayush Badoni also played some brilliant knocks to help chase down the fourth highest target in IPL history.
That was LSG’s batting at its best and showed what the team can achieve. This is a batting lineup that can be quite vulnerable to some early wickets, though, as we saw in the first match. Manish Pandey is the only batsman that has struggled for form in both matches and he could be someone to bet against.
LSG’s bowling is a bit unconvincing as well. Only Ravi Bishnoi has been picking up wickets and keeping the runs down regularly. He can be a good option for the Top Bowler LSG betting market. Avesh Khan, in particular, has looked out of sorts after having a great season with the Delhi Capitals.
LSG’s bowling could come under pressure if one or two of the SRH batters get in and start scoring.
Likely XI: KL Rahul (capt), Quinton de Kock (wk), Evin Lewis, Manish Pandey, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Krunal Pandya, Dushmantha Chamira, Andrew Tye, Ravi Bishnoi, Avesh Khan.
