The auction for the 15th season of IPL is to be held on February 12 and 13. In this, all 10 teams will come to bid on the player of their choice out of 590 players involved in the auction.

Which players will be auctioned on the first day?
It will be started by marquee players on Saturday 12 February i.e. on the first day of the auction. There are four Indian and six foreign players in the list of marquee players. The names of experienced players like Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan, Mohammed Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Pat Cummins, Kagiso Rabada, Trent Boult, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, David Warner are included. The base price of all these players is 2 crores.
Who will be after the marquee players?
After 10 marquee players on the first day, 151 more players will be bidding. These players are divided into different sets according to their game. It has separate sets for batsmen, bowlers and all-rounders. A total of 62 sets will be revealed to the players in the first day’s auction. It will include the names of players who have played in international cricket for the country playing cricket.
