The remaining matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League, the much talked-about T20 tournament of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, are to be organized in the UAE. Its remaining 31 matches will be held next month. The players of Chennai Super Kings, captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni, are reaching Chennai before leaving for the UAE. Captain and team’s experienced batsman Suresh Raini has reached to join the team.
Former Indian batsman and CSK’s trusted player Suresh Raina is all set to take part in the remaining matches of IPL 2021. On Tuesday, he reached Chennai where captain Dhoni is already present. After a disappointing performance in the previous season, CSK made a strong comeback in the opening matches of this series. Playing 7 matches and winning 5 matches, the team is in second place with 10 points.
When will the team leave for UAE
CSK CEO KS Viswanathan has informed that the players of the team are reaching Chennai one by one. All the Indian players who are part of the team and are not currently playing for Team India will gather together in Chennai. From here the team plans to leave for the UAE on August 13.
Viswanath told that the team will start practice only after going to UAE, before that there will be no camp of the team in Chennai. All the franchise teams have to reach UAE, Dubai or Abu Dhabi before the remaining matches of the 14th season of IPL. According to the bio-secure bubble protocol, before coming here, all the players of the team will have to isolate themselves in India first. Players who are about to take a transfer from another bubble from an overseas tour will not need it.
