Sri Lanka has announced its squad for the 3-match T20 series against India starting this week. On Monday, an 18-member team was selected from Sri Lanka. Dasun Shanaka has been given the command of the team while Charith Asalanka has been made the vice-captain. Mystery spinners Mahish Teekshna and Vanindu Hasaranga, who got the highest bid in the Indian Premier League, are also included in the team.
The Sri Lankan team, coming to India this month, will play the three-match T20 series first. After this two Test matches will be played, in which the last match will be Pink Ball Test i.e. Day Night. Sri Lanka will play T20 matches with India on this tour on 24 February, 27 February and 27 February. Whereas the first Test will be held between March 4 and March 8. Immediately after this, from March 12 to March 16, both the teams will play Day Night Test matches.
According to the new schedule, the matches of the T20 series have been given to Lucknow and Dharamsala. Whereas Mohali and Bangalore have got the responsibility of organizing Test matches. The first match will be played in Lucknow on Thursday, February 24. After this, both the matches will be played in Dharamsala on Saturday 26 February and Sunday on 27 February.

- 3rd T20 February 27 (Sunday) Dharamsala
- 1st Test 4th to 8th March Mohali
