There has been a change in the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup. Shardul Thakur has been included in the main team in place of spinner all-rounder Axar Patel. Earlier, the inclusion of spinner Yuzvendra Chahal in the squad selected for the T20 World Cup was advocated by many former veterans. In view of Hardik Pandya being unable to bowl due to injury, a fast bowler was included in the team. The suggestion was also coming continuously.
The BCCI gave this information to the fans of the team through social media. Sharing a picture of Shardul Thakur celebrating a wicket, it has been announced that in place of Akshar, Shardul will be part of Team India for the Team World Cup.
