Australia fast bowler Nathan Ellis made his debut in the third T20I against Bangladesh. For Ellis, it turned out to be his dream T20I debut as he did something rare in his very first match. In this match, Ellis took a hat-trick wicket, while Bangladesh team scored 127 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs in the first innings against Kangaroo. Australia’s 27-year-old Nathan Ellis got a chance to debut in the third match against Bangladesh and made it a memorable one. He took 3 wickets for 34 runs in his four over spell. He got these three wickets as a hat-trick. He did this feat in the last ie 20th over of the first innings. He clean bowled captain Mahmudullah on the fourth ball of this over, who was playing on 52 runs. At the same time, on the very next ball i.e. on the fifth ball, he got Mustafizur Rahman caught by Mitchell Marsh without opening the account. Then on the last ball of the over, he got Mehdi Hasan caught by Aston Agar on the score of 6 runs.

In this match, Mahmudullah played the highest innings of 52 runs for Bangladesh, while Shakib Al Hasan was second in terms of runs and scored 26 runs.
