Starting their World Cup campaign, the Indian women’s team has set a target of 245 runs in front of Pakistan. Pakistan has never been able to beat India in the World Cup today. Mithali Raj has created history in this match.

Under the captaincy of Mithali Raj, the Indian women’s team made a tremendous start to their campaign by defeating Pakistan in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022. For India, Smriti Mandhana, Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana performed well in the batting, while Rajeshwari Gaikwad’s sharp bowling did not let the Pakistani batsmen run. Batting first, India scored 244 for 7 in 50 overs and in the second innings, Pakistan were bowled out for 137 in 43 overs to register a 107-run win in the match.

The captain and vice-captain could not do wonders-

Captain Mithali Raj and vice-captain Harmanpreet had high hopes in this big match but both were dismissed cheaply. Mithali Raj contributed 9 while Harmanpreet contributed 5 runs. However, Mithali has become the first female player in the world to play the most number of World Cups. He has played 6 World Cups.
